Charter Award Ceremony; Congratulations Charterholders 2011!

On Monday 21 November 2011 the CFA Society of the Netherlands in cooperation with the CFA Institute hosted the annual Charter Award Ceremony at the impressive Industrieele Groote Club in Amsterdam. Fifty attending Charterholders were greeted by the Board of the Society and received their official Charters. The illustrious reward at the culmination of years of hard work. Welcome and congratulatory messages were conveyed by André Broijl and Hilko de Brouwer, President and Chairman of Education of the Dutch CFA Society respectively. Ed Bace, Director of Education at the CFA Institute EMEA office was also available to congratulate Charterholders and inform them of the opportunities available to them, both professionally and within the CFA Institute, now that they had received their long-awaited designations.

The evening was warm and informal, with over 100 family members and friends present; a record attendance for the Charter Ceremony. Each Charterholder was greeted with personal repartee, a handshake, a bouquet of flowers and most importantly, the Charter document. In addition, several members received Recognition for the achievement of passing all three levels of the CFA program. These individuals are in the process of completing their work experience requirements and will join the ranks of Charterholders shortly. The evening ended with drinks and snacks, photographs and well-deserved cheers. Thank you to all of the attendees who helped make this a successful evening. We wish you all the best.
